Solid gel memory foam core - A single piece of memory foam infused with temperature-regulating gel. The foam contours to your head and neck for pressure relief; the gel addresses the heat retention memory foam is normally criticized for.

Ventilated design - The foam is perforated so air moves through the core rather than getting trapped inside it. Gel alone in a solid block has nowhere to send the heat it absorbs — ventilation gives it somewhere to go. The two work together.

Removable machine-washable cover - A soft zippered 100% polyester cover that comes off easily and is both machine washable and dryer safe.

A note on feel: medium-firm, and firmer than a down or down alternative pillow. That's characteristic of solid memory foam and it's where the support comes from — but if you're switching from a soft fiber pillow, expect a real adjustment.

Solid memory foam compresses less under weight than fiber does, so the sleeping height stays closer to the pillow's actual loft. Worth knowing if you're switching from a fiber pillow: a foam pillow of the same stated height will feel noticeably taller in use.

Covered by a 3-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. Normal softening from use, and damage from washing the foam core, are not covered.

Pillows cannot be returned once opened, for hygiene reasons — and firmness is the thing to be sure about here, since medium-firm foam is a real step up from a fiber pillow. Come try it in the showroom first.
